With a Bachelors' and Masters' Degree in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College, London, and an MBA from INSEAD, Dimitri Katsachnias
joined L'Oreal in 1984 at the World Headquarters in Paris as product manager. Since then he has consecutively occupied top management
positions as Managing Director of the L'Oreal Luxury Products Greek Subsidiary (1989-1992), as International Marketing Manager Lancôme
Skincare at the Worldwide Headquarters in Paris (1992-1993), International Development Director for Lancôme (1994-1997), Worldwide Managing
Director for Cacharel and Guy Laroche Fragrances (1997-2000) and Worldwide Managing Director for Strategic Business Development of the
Luxury Products Division of L'Oréal (2000-2003).
In 2003 he joins Tho Van Tran and Eric Hollander as a partner in the advertising agency AIR Paris and Brussels.
AIR Paris is well known for its international creations for high added value brands such as Dior (Fashion and fragrances:J'adore, Fahrenheit,
Hypnotic Poison etc.) Cacharel (Noa, Anais Anais, Amor Amor etc.), Fred. (jewellery), Kenzo (Fashion and Fragrances:Flower) etc.
The three partners also co-found Garden and Partners, an agency specialized in brand strategy and implementation as well as the development
of new brands.
Present clients of AIR Paris and Garden and Partners include Lancôme, Guerlain, Marithé et Françoise Girbaud, Jil Sander, Salvatore Ferragamo,
Natura Brasil, Korres Natural Products, Acqua di Parma, Falke, Institut Esthederm, and others.
This experience has established Dimitri Katsachnias as an expert in Brand strategy and communication, its signs and values as well as the
implementation of the full marketing mix.
